Lesson from December 9

These times have been prophesied since almost the beginning of time. The world is in for a serious house cleaning. We get to be the ones to start first with our own house. We get to clean our own homes. We get to be the example, the immovable anchors in the world. We get to be the light in the world that will draw God's other children to Him. I pray that in our hearts and in our homes there may abide that spirit of love, of patience, of kindness, of charity, of helpfulness that enriches our lives and that makes the world brighter and better because of it. We can create that peace - even if it is in our hearts. We can feel His peace, even when the world is falling apart around us. Jessica Lewis: Several years ago during a Sunday School lesson the question was asked - Why has our time in the history of the world been talked about and written about so much more than any other time? After a long pause brother Ted Gibbons said- It's because we know the outcome. We know who wins. Everything has been leading up to this event. We get to pick our team and be part of the great last play of the game. It gives Jessica great comfort to know that she gets to pick her team and be on the Lords side.
