If we realize that God is all powerful and has perfect love, we realize He has the power to consecrate all of our experiences. Now at this time we have the opportunity to sup at the Lord's table that we might more fully realize the dangers  of pride as President Benson said. Think of those who are not active or go ing on missions or doing temple work because they have been offended and are inactive.

President Burgi
As we look at the world right now there is lots of madness. If I were president of the United States, I would take college sports off Sunday. So, how do we prepare for Sunday. When parents lead out ahead of time, families are calmer on Sunday. Service to others is appropriate. James calls it pure religion.


President Brady
His daughter ran out of gas on the way home from SUU and some rough young men gave her a little gas, but told her to follow them to a gas station. They led her to a dirt road instead and it soon became apparent it did not lead to a gas station. The  Spirit prompted her to turn around, which she did, but she ran out of gas again on the freeway. A highway patrolman stopped to help her. He had seen her from the other side of the freeway and been concerned when he saw her following the truck down the dirt road where he knew there was no gas station. It ended all right. Good story, but it never would have happened if she had prepared properly and had gas in the car. We are here in church to put in the gas we need
