Megan Williams gave the lesson. Linda Campbell told the story about George Albert Smith when he asked for forgiveness of the man who had spread false rumors about hime, because he had been angry against him. The man said he himself should be the one asking for forgiveness. Jessica Lewis said that withholding forgiveness from someone is a serious sin. Thinking about your anger and saying it out loud makes it worse. Sister Byrne said to go quickly to the offended and ask forgiveness so it gets over faster. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Crystelle Boyadjian spoke about how important it it to forgive something that happened years ago. Don't let it get between you and the Lord. Megan asked how we can get into the condition to forgive? Jessica Lewis said that the stronger our faith in Jesus Christ, the stronger our understanding of forgiveness and the more likely we are to forgive. Emily Campbell spoke about being a beggar before the Lord and how realizing that helps us so we can want to repent. Linda Campbell talked about letting things go. The discussion turned toward forgiving people who have done terrible things, but not forgetting so we are put in danger again. But we do have to let God do the forgiving and know they are in God's hands.Heather said that charity is the greatest and if you don't forgive you aren't close to God. Sister Bush said if you have a desire, you are in the process and you want that peace. Dorothy Davis said There are many reasons why the Savior wants us to access the atonement. So we are the ones who are hurt more than they.
