Relief Society Christmas Program

Our Christmas program on Sunday, Dec 23 included music and readings narrated by Anita Na'a.We were greeted by violin music. We sang "It came Upon a Midnight Clear" with readings afterward by Taylor Jolley, Abbie Craig, Maren Payne and Barbara Alldredge. Then the songs "Oh Hush Thee My Baby" and "Mary's Lullaby" were sung by Irma Lopez, Sara Campbell, Sister Bush, Dorothy Davis, Linda Campbell, Sister B, Katie Craig, Paige Gibson, and Amy Young Anita Na'a narrated. The song "The Friendly Beasts" was sung by the Young Women. Then there was a reading by Lori Freytag before song "Star of Bethlehem" was sung. Readings by Megan Williams followed by the song "He Sent His Son"led by young Lewis and violin music "As I Have Loved You" by Sister B, some narration and more readings by Joyce Garner, Sara Campbell, Paige Gibson, Virginia Roundy, Katie Craig, Charlene Farnworth, Linda Campbell, Camille Maynard, and Jessica Lewis. All the Relief Society sisters and Young Women participated in a choral reading: A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another;as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Amy Young made some comments about our circles of influence and being kind to one person can lead to other people being kind. Our closing songs were "Joy to the World" and "Oh Come All Ye Faithful."
